Kanu Hawaii docs
The volunteer platform at needs.kanuhawaii.org connects people across the islands with organizations that need them. These are the instructions for using it.
Start where you are
I want to volunteer
Find something to do, sign up for it, and keep a record of the hours you put in, including hours served with a group that is not on Kanu. You do not need an account to sign up for most opportunities.
I run an organization
Register your organization, post opportunities, invite your colleagues, see who turned up, and report the numbers. Listing is free, and your organization may already be listed from the old website.
Getting started for organizers
I want listings on my own website
The embeddable widget puts live opportunities on any site with one script tag. Visitors can browse and sign up without leaving your page.
I am building something
How the pieces fit together, what is linkable, and where the source lives.
